The HPE Apollo R2200 Gen10 chassis maximises compute density by accommodating up to four XL170r Gen10 nodes within a compact 2U design. Each node is equipped with up to two Intel Scalable Gen 1 or 2 processors, providing powerful multi-core processing capabilities for demanding tasks, such as AI workloads, data analytics, and complex simulations.
With support for up to 16x DDR4 DIMM slots per XL170r Gen10 node, the Apollo R2200 Gen10 delivers extensive memory capacity, allowing a total of 64 DIMM slots across the chassis, with a maximum of 4TB supported memory. The Apollo R2200 chassis supports 12 large form factor (LFF) drives, providing ample storage capacity for data-intensive operations. This modular approach enables businesses to expand storage capacity and enhance performance as requirements grow.
