The 'Basic' workstation is suitable for 1080p and smaller 2K projects whereas 'Intermediate' or 'Expert' machines are recommended for large 2K or 4K projects and 'Expert' machine are suggested for 8K work.
Due to differences in software the 'Intermediate' system will offer slightly better performance in Adobe After Effects whereas the 'Expert' system will be quicker when used for primarily Premiere Pro work.
Our 'Render Optimised' Workstations is exactly what it says on the tin, specially designed for handling large render jobs, the 'Render Optimised' workstations works impeccably well as a dedicated render work-horse but will not provide you the best bang-for-the-buck when used for general day-to-day editing.
We recommend having two drives which provides the best performance:
Only Render Optimised Workstation has more than 2x 3.5"" Internal drive bays (4 Total).
3.5" to 2.5" converters are automatically added here if SSDs are selected.
Graphics cards with DMS-59 connections will automatically add a 'DMS-59 to VGA Splitter' to your configuration (you can change this to a DVI splitter below if required). You can then plug in a VGA/DVI cable into the splitter.

Every workstation has an integrated 1GbE RJ-45 port for connection with your router/network, additional >2GbE options are available, but not required, for professionals on high-speed networks that need an ultra-fast connection. Wi-Fi options are available for individuals who cannot plug directly into their routers.
No external cables (Power cables/Monitor cables) are included by standard. If you require any additional cables you can find the standard power cable for the system below and additional monitor cables here.
