The pre-configured workstations offered are all at, or above, the 'Recommended Specifications' from AutoDesk. The 'Basic' workstation offers a cost-effective solution for work with smaller-assemblies, the 'Intermediate' workstation has been designed for medium sized assemblies and the 'Expert' workstation has been designed to tackle large-assemblies and be compatible with other demanding applications, whilst also providing the ultimate all-in-one solution for creation and rendering.
Our 'Render Optimised' workstation is the perfect dedicated render station and is designed for workflows that heavily comprise of rendering and FEA simulations, for more diverse workflows the 'Expert' workstation offers better value.
We recommend having two drives which provides the best performance:
3.5" to 2.5" converters are automatically added here if SSDs are selected.
Graphics cards with DMS-59 connections will automatically add a 'DMS-59 to VGA Splitter' to your configuration (you can change this to a DVI splitter below if required). You can then plug in a VGA/DVI cable into the splitter.
Refer to the graphics card and/or monitor descriptions to see supported cable type.
Every workstation has an integrated 1GbE RJ-45 port for connection with your router/network, additional >2GbE options are available, but not required, for professionals on high-speed networks that need an ultra-fast connection. Wi-Fi options are available for individuals who cannot plug directly into their routers.
No external cables (Power cables/Monitor cables) are included by standard. If you require any additional cables you can find the standard power cable for the system below and additional monitor cables here.
Our monitors are graded cosmetically from A+ to B. View our Grading Guide for more information.
Monitor power cables are automatically added to your configuration as required for your monitor selection.
