The refurbished HP Compaq 6005 Pro from Bargain Hardware is a solid cheap performer, suitable for home and office based applications. It is available in two SFF configurations - desktop and mini-tower. It is ideal for daily usage and its low cost/performance ratio makes it a great all-round budget PC workstation.

The HP Compaq 6005 Pro supports a wide range of powerful AMD Sempron/Athlon/Phenom CPUs, with up to 4 cores, speeds of up to 3.00GHz and up to 8MB cache. 4 DIMM slots are fitted which take DDR3 RAM up to 1333Mhz.

2 x 3.5” and 2 x 5.25” bays take SATA HDDs and SSDs with an onboard SATA controller with RAID 1 support. In addition there are 4 x PCIe slots, 10 x USB 2.0 ports, 2 x PS/2 ports and integrated Intel Graphics (with room to upgrade). Networking is integrated Intel Gigabit Ethernet port and power is supplied through the 240W (desktop) or 320W (mini-tower) Energy Star PSU.
