HPE Moonshot Node Server

Generate more revenue, in less rack space, and higher performance at the absolute lowest wattage consumed per server with the Moonshot 1500. Housing up to 45 Intel Xeon single-socket blades in a hyper-scalable 4U chassis, which design is derived from the study of optimal workflows in space-restricted environments, the Moonshot 1500 delivers energy efficiency and compute optimization through utilization of low-power Intel System on Chip design processors and energy-efficient NVMe M.2 SSD storage.
The HPE Moonshot shared server infrastructure gives you access to hyper-space sensitive server-blades, presenting 45U worth of hardware in just 4U. Multiple server-blade options provide varying specifications for different workloads; cost-effective hyper-threaded quad-core processors, four-DIMM slots and four-NVMe connections perfect for video-transcoding and application delivery or performance over price delivered with either an eight or sixteen core Intel Xeon processor, up to 128GB of ECC RAM and dual NVMe flash storage slots.
Chassis management and connectivity are impressively handled by the Moonshot 1500. Chassis management is controlled by either SSH or GUI and is packed full of features such as the HPE RESTful Interface for mass scripting and rapid deployment of moonshot systems. Enterprise-grade network connectivity options provide important resiliency features which can be combined and managed via the HPE Intelligent Resilient Framework (IRF). HPE Moonshot-45XGc Uplink modules deliver 10GbE/40GbE external connection to the moonshot's chassis and 10GbE direct to your server-blades. 4QSFP+ and 16SFP+ uplink modules reduce risk and help customers realize improved stability and agility delivering 160Gbps of bandwidth to the chassis, all whilst improving customer confidence through impressive traffic isolation and redundancy features.
